A breather from investigations, working on Newsday’s food show was a delight.

Of the episodes I contributed videography or editing, the most powerful was this more documentary-styled episode about a young, alcohol addiction-recovered chef, following in the footsteps of his late mentor. 

This episode which I scripted and edited, features photography by Chris Ware and myself. It was hosted and narrated by the inimitable Pervaiz Shelwani.

Favorite moment — when the protege and star of the documentary accidentally explodes a can of cream onto himself and across the newly painted kitchen.
