Jeffrey Basinger is a photojournalist, video producer, and drone pilot. He was previously the Senior Multimedia Producer at Newsday, and is currently Professor of Multimedia Storytelling and Journalism in the Hudson Valley, New York.

Basinger is particularly interested in covering stories about aging, health care, conservation and science and full-contact fighting sports. He is experienced in hospital embedding, investigations, and underwater photography.
